The victims of the homicides that occurred on Sunday, Dec. 20, at Mango'z Sports Bar in Bridgeport were Jaheim Warren, age 19, of Derby, and Andrew Stephenson, 24 of Bridgeport, said Captain Brian Fitzgerald.
Both men were likely shot as the result of an ongoing dispute, Fitzgerald said.
"The surviving victims do not appear to have been intended targets," he said.
The location where the shootings occurred was formerly Mango'z Sports Bar. This establishment does not have a valid license to sell alcohol or operate as a bar, he said.
"The circumstances surrounding who owns the bar and why it was open are the subject of this ongoing investigation," Fitzgerald added.
